Thank you God...for blessing us with this princess!!!

I know I keep on saying this....but Aaron and I feel so blessed that this little girl was handpicked, we believe by God to be our daughter.

We are still a bit jet lagged and tired, but that all goes away when we walk into the room and see our princess.  Court is Friday and Oksana is preparing us during our 1hr and 30min drive to the orphanage each day.  She says our judge is open to listening, but thinks we are young first time parents to be adopting.  I predict there will be quite a few questions about our infertility and so Aaron and I are making sure we are on the same page about what we want to say about that.  In the preliminary hearing last week, the judge did ask Oksana why we did not try IVF and other procedures beyond just a trial period of Clomid.  I know enough about the health risks that large doses of those hormonal medications can do to you to intelligently answer her question and Aaron and I will review that tonight since she will probably ask those questions.  At this point, our life is really an open book anyway!

Today, though was an awesome day!!!  Katie was sooo much more active and just happy to see us!  At one point, we thought she had to potty and Oksana took her back to her room and she DID NOT want to go back to her group.  She wanted to play more and spend time with us.  Oksana said it seems she is really bonding with us!  We couldn't be happier to hear that as she has been doing this for 11 years!

Katie definitely is a Daddy's little girl and says Momma, Papa, Pocka-Pocka (means bye, bye in Russian) and seems to understand when we tell her I love you in Russian.  She also blows the cutest kisses when she says bye.  Oh, how blessed we are to be bringing her home this time.  We will have much to celebrate this Valentine's Day and they have a special night here planned at the Vlad Motor Inn with live music.  :-)  Our court is this Friday at 11am Vladivostok time, so if you're praying...pray on Thursday night (for everyone at home) as we are 16 hours ahead of the Central time zone and 15 hours ahead of the Eastern time zone.

Without further adieu, here are some photos from today!

Our latest family photo.  Little Miss LOVES Cheerios, Bananas and Animal Crackers.

Katie and I with our wonderful coordinator, Oksana who helps create "Forever Families."
What a rewarding job and we can tell how passionate she is about her work!

She runs to her daddy from across the room!

Big smile after laughing at Daddy, followed by cute smile...below!

This HAS to be my favorite smile as she sticks out her tongue just like her Mommy!!

Daddy's little cuddle-bug, princess Katie!
