A serious lesson in patience.....
So, now we've done our part of the home study except for my medical form (which is this Wednesday). I'm venting (already) because it seems like Aaron and I really pushed to get through the material and what else? bureaucracy slows things down. No, it's not our agency....THEY are awesome! It's the states we had to request clearances from that Aaron and I are not child perpetrators. All have responded except, guess where? OHIO!!!! Geez, I thought the old adage was that the South was slow, but Louisiana responded within a week and Alabama and Mississippi responded asap too with their correct forms (our agency had to request those formally). Sometimes I think God is doing this to teach me especially a lesson in patience. I think Aaron has more patience than I do, personally. What really made me sad today was our social worker said the last clearances from Ohio took TWELVE weeks!!!! That's three months the last time I checked...and we sent ours out on January 26th. Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this bureaucratic journey. Boy, I thought I'd seen plenty of paperwork when dealing with the Air Force, but they have NOTHING on this. Oh well, we meet with our social worker again on the 28th and til' then, just pray that they receive more of the required documents and we get our Immigration fingerprinting appointments.
Also, they've been deploying people from Aaron's area like crazy and we are so praying they can NOT deploy him this time around. His "bucket" lasts til' June and if they do deploy him, I might seriously lose my mind because that puts EVERYTHING on hold and then documents start to expire and essentially we have to start over. But I can't think like that....
Oh well, be positive, have faith and believe....right?

I know how you are feeling girl....It's such a slow go with documents..Just hold on tight to each other and pray. You will get through this...Things happen for a reason...I know that seems like a funny thing to say coming from me...but I believe that..everything happens for a reason....I pray for you and Aaron both daily and know you are not alone!!!
